HUBER+SUHNER To Showcase Latest RADOX® Charger And Injection Radar Antenna
According to foreign media reports, HUBER+SUHNER will present a variety of technical products at the 2018 Electric & Hybrid Technology Expo Europe 2018 held in Hanover, Germany, from May 15th to 17th this year.
The company introduced the latest RADOX® high-power charging system, which can increase the power output of electric vehicle charging cables to 500 kW, increase the charging speed and efficiency, and reduce the charging time to within 15 minutes (80% charge capacity can be charged ). At the same time, the cross-section of the cable provided by this charging scheme is small. The thickness of the charging cable is thin, flexible, lightweight and easy to operate.
The company will also exhibit a high voltage distribution unit (HVDU) and a second-generation RADOX® Automotive Grade Connector System (RACS). The HVDU can be fully customized to ensure the distribution balance among all high voltage components in electric vehicles, ground, water or air equipment, even in snow ploughs, street sweepers and trucks. By combining the HVDU with an innovative RACS wire-to-device connection system, users can gain the following benefits: Significant reduction in space requirements, 360-degree electromagnetic shielding, and outstanding environmental performance.
Another innovative technology is automatic injection molded radar antennas. Thanks to the antenna's conformal antenna design and low-loss power distribution network, this antenna perfectly fits in self-driving cars and helps autopilot vehicles.
